Director of Client Interaction, Entry Level Insurance
Position Type: Entry level, Part-time (24-40 hours), Paid.
Schedule and hours will be discussed during interview.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a competent candidate for the part-time paid
position of Director of Client Interaction. This entry level position is
an excellent opportunity to start a lucrative professional career in
insurance. Working hours are expected to be24-40 hours per week,
with potential full-time employment with benefit package.
Reports to Director of Personal lines. Main responsibilities include
answering and directing client phone calls, greeting clients, and other
important administrative tasks.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Answers and directs incoming phone calls.
  • Greets clients and directs them to the appropriate employee.
  • Opens, sorts and distributes incoming mails;prepares items for outgoing mails.
  • Distributes incoming faxes.
  • Navigate between local and TOL desktop.
  • Understands and monitors TAM’s major functions.
  • Creates activities with follow-up to account executives.
  • Scan and attach documents to customer and prospect files.
  • Printing memos and form-letters.
  • Translates English business letters about insurance to Chinese.
  • Follows procedures and agency guidelines; processes work
    within established time frames.
  • Handles assigned special projects as needed.
Job required skills & Competencies
  • Required Mandarin, and English speaking,
    Cantonese speaking is a plus. Do not apply if you cannot speak
    Chinese, as it is a job requirement.
  • Excellent customer service skills required, prior experience
    preferred;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent computer skills: ability to operate the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook);
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities;
  • Ability to learn new tasks quickly;
  • Accuracy, thoroughness and attention to details.
  • Abilities to work independently and in a team environment.
Education, Work Experience & Knowledgerequirement:
  • Bachelor/Master program student, with minimum 2.9GPA.
  • Customer service/Administrative support background is a plus.
  • Insurance/Risk Management/Business Administration education background is a plus.
